Alexander Art Studio was founded in 2002 in Lake Charles, LA. Fortunate enough- With all my travels I have kept this wonderful 108 year young space, Central School- which serves as my creative space and hub. I thank the City of Lake Charles for opening such a beautiful creative space and preserving the Arts.
We are National and International, present and past. We are local and local is Within Us. My goal is to create awesome artwork that people love and feel, involve individuals who are local, community...First.

Christmas Writing...
Tonight is Christmas. Often today I thought about someone opening pieces from people that love and appreciated them... Little bits of Fleur Des Lis and Worlds Within Series floating around and smiles.
This month has indeed been a long one, and daily long hours still holding a paintbrush in my hand.
If you are reading this, I am sure it is because you are curious about my jacket in this pic, right? Well, I found it on ebay 3 weeks ago. Old Michael Jackson style, 80's kids jacket actually. I got it in the mail and upon opening it- i just knew, and I really did not think it would fit. Merry Christmas to me, it did! I tried it on tonight, snapped this pic...
Tonight I drove to the Studio and then back to Lafayette.Those 3 x 4 blank canvas' leaning against the book shelf in my studio screamed my name...rang my ears and chilled my body...I will attack those canvas real soon ohhh..
I will be in Lafayette for one more week, then 3 months of pure anything, travel, on and off creativity in my studio. I look forward to new technologies and playing with layers of new exciting media, in and out of my creative spaces, documenting fascinating moments and multi media.
